Type of test
For this type of test, given the high load to be placed on the foundation pole, it was chosen to use iron beams as a contrast to hydraulic jacks (n. 6 area jacks 749.5 cmq Cadauno) connected to N. 4 poles thrown near the pole Test. More specifically, there are 3 main thrust beams from M. 10×1, 25×0, 5 each, centered on the pole head, above the hydraulic jacks. Transversely, on both sides, 3 and 3 iron beams have been positioned from 7×0,8,03 each, anchored to the 4 tie poles by means of special reinforcement bars mm. 32, suitably shaped and then thrown together with the waiting irons with cement RCK 500.
Maximum Test Load
To reach the maximum test load required on this pole of diam. 1200 mm., along 40 m., an ENERPAC electric control unit has been used, equipped with a digital pressure gauge for AEP control. The sagging has been measured by centesimal comparators placed on the 4 sides of the plinth, on the test pole head, using N. 2 putrelline in 10 m long iron. As fixed points, suitably protected from sunlight. With this system it is possible to reach very high loads at low cost compared to the traditional load test with ballast.
